It has been a very long time since I have updated this thing. I wonder if anyone still reads it. Well for those of you that do....

Summer has been fun. I am homesick though. Right now I am in St. Louis at my Aunts house. I have been gone from home for 3 and 1/2 weeks. I go home tomorrow! Well for those of you that dont know what I have been up to I will tell you.

My first week of summer consisted of absolutely nothing except for cross country practice.

The next week I went on a church choir trip. We went to Branson, Missouri and sang along the way at some churches. It was so much fun. My cabin ended up being the only one without a chaperone which meant that we could get into trouble....without getting in trouble.

Then I came home from that trip for 12 hours before leaving the next day on my family vacation to North and South Carolina. I had just enough time to do laundry and stuff everything back into my bags. My grandparents met us in Washington D.C. for 2 weeks of the trip. I would have to say that the thing I enjoyed most was the Grand Ole Oprey. We stopped in Nashville on our way to St. Louis and it was sweet. We didnt see anyone really big. It was a special night and there were about 20 different singers there. One of them was Erika Jo. If anyone watched Nashville Star, she was the one that won. But yea it was very sweet.

So like I said before I am in St. Louis right now. It's so weird to be back here. I realize how much I miss my old friends. The first night I was here I went over to my old neighbors house and she and I stayed up until 5 in the morning talking. We talked straight for 8 hours. And if I end up going to Southwest Missouri State, we might end up rooming together. But even when I am in St. Louis I still miss all of my friends in Omaha and I am anxious to get home. Today I saw War of the Worlds. It was...interesting. Actually I thought it was pretty good until the end. I thought that the ending was very crappy compared to the rest of the movie. But I would recommend it so go see it if you get a chance.

Well tomorrow morning I am on my way home. But only for a day because Thursday morning I am headed back to Branson, Missouri for a week to go to camp. So if anyone read this...I be back again the middle of July and I promise to update.

I LOVE WHEN IT RAINS

Friday, April 01, 2005

This week went by so slowly! Most likely because of those two days we had off. I had a good time on those days though. I visited Missouri Western on Tuesday and decided that I dont ever want to go to college there. Although they have really good programs in the areas I am looking in and alot of good scholoraships to offer, I didnt like the actual campus at all and could never see myself living there for 4 years. On Wednesday I looked the UNK. It was okay. Definently better than Missouri Western but I have no idea what I want to do. I just heard from my friend in St. Louis and we are looking at alot of the same colleges so sometime this summer we might go look at Truman and Southwest Missouri State together.

Hmm...what else has been going on lately...

I had a track meet today. I think I was the oldest girl that ran in this meet from Millard West. But oh well. My times werent very good but they havent been all year. I just dont know where the little running ability I had went...well see how the rest of this season goes. Even though I am not very good a track, I love it so much...I guess that is what keeps me going.

I wish that everyone that went on the New York trip would come home soon! I miss them...well mostly just Alia...Im sure they are having fun though. I wish that I would have taken choir this year. Oh well I am excited for it next year.

Come see the school musical "Once Upon a Mattress"

March 10, 11, or 12.

 Tickets are $6 in advance.

That is basically all I have been up to lately...musical practice and track...but mainly right now it is musical. I got my costume today and I guess that it is pretty decent considering the fact the we have to dress like they did in the 1400's..but I guess that you will all just have to come see the musical to see my costume...
